(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan has arrived in Tehran at the head of a high-ranking delegation early Wednesday morning, IRNA news agency reported.
Recep Tayyip ErdoganErdogan was received at the airport by Foreign Minister Ali-Akbar Salehi.
The delegation accompanying Turkish prime minister included his foreign minister, energy, economy, Urban Development ministers. Also among the delegation was the Undersecretary of Turkish Intelligence Organization, Deputy Chief of the Turkish General Staff General, Head of Atomic Energy Organization, three Parliament deputies as well as spouse and daughter of the premier.
He is scheduled to meet and discuss several issues with President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, First Vice-President Mohammad Reza Rahimi and Majlis Speaker Ali Larijani during his 2-day official visit, IRNA said.
Dicussions were to concentrate on Iran's nuclear program, the conflict in Syria, regional issues and bilateral relations, it added. He will also inaugurate Turkey’s Cultural Center in Tehran.
